Pardot In Lightning Experience – Generally Available Now
With Pardot in Lightning Experience that is now generally available, the app is no longer a single tab. The App has an all-new layout tailored for Lightning Experience so that your user can be more productive. Use Pardot in Lightning Experience like any other app.
Easily Opt-In an Opted-Out Prospect Synced to Salesforce
We all know how difficult it was previously to Opt-In a prospect that had been Opted-Out. We needed to make that prospect Opt-In simultaneously in both Pardot and Salesforce. Now, Pardot admins can change this field’s sync behavior to allow users to overwrite a prospect’s Opt-Out status to make them mailable again. Users can Opt-In up to 100 prospects per day, per account.
So, How Do We Do This?
In Pardot, edit your Salesforce connector and select Overwrite Prospect Opted-Out field. Accept the terms, and then save your connector.
Allow Prospects to Repeat in an Engagement Program (Beta)
We can choose to allow a prospect to enter an engagement program more than once in the engagement program setting. On the engagement studio home page, you will see the following message with an “Opt-In” button to allow engagement program to repeat.
You can control how many times a prospect can re-enter and also the number of days after which a prospect will be eligible to re-enter the program.
Filter Engagement Studio Canvas by Date
You can now filter the canvas data for a specific period of time, just select the date range and it will show you the data for that given period.
Create Salesforce Campaign Members form Prospects
Along with Connected Campaigns, prospects associated with Pardot campaigns can now sync to connected Salesforce campaigns as campaign members. Turn on both Connected Campaigns and Member Sync to find Pardot-sourced prospects (first touch) in your Salesforce campaigns. When you turn them into contacts, Pardot Campaign will be marked as the first touch campaign for that lead/contact.
We need to enable two settings for this: “Connected Campaigns” and “Enable Member Sync”.
Integrate More Easily with the New Salesforce-Pardot Connector (New Accounts)
This Change is applicable to new Pardot accounts. Version 2 of the connector Is more secure and doesn’t need a user license, plus, it is always connected. It’s also easier to set up syncing between Pardot and Salesforce with the new integration user. You can pause syncing for prospects, custom objects, campaign members, and opportunities.
